Day Program Manager

Day Program Manager will be responsible for the oversight for day program including program staff, supervision, recruitment, orientation, and training needs are properly addressed. Plan, develop, evaluate, schedule, and provide training, for the staff in day program to ensure proper program coverage and participants needs are met. Support and sustain positive morale of the staff. Coordinate, plan and conduct staff meetings, ensure that problems encountered by staff are resolved to ensure smooth operation of the program. Assist in the observations of classrooms, evaluate activities, and collaborate with Director to develop action plans. Develop and monitor contract work, creative and interesting community centered opportunities for program participants. Ensure Individual Habilitation Plans are properly developed, implemented, and monitored to meet individual needs. Ensure the day program maintains compliance with NCFL policies and procedures and licensing requirements. Prepare and maintain administrative and business reports and records of the achievement center; record all fee for service activities and take necessary follow-up action when required. Maintains client confidence and protects agency by keeping information confidential. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum one-year experience working with MR/DD population in a managerial capacity. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Valid New Jersey driver license, reliable transportation, and insurable organization insurance carrier. Ability to pass a background screening.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Reviews medical administration records for accuracy and completeness and as required for licensing standards.  Monitors medication errors and follows up on discrepancies.  Evaluates residents and clients needs, condition and care.  Assists in developing nursing care plans.  Provides instructions to staff as needed to ensure state compliance.  Establishes and documents client treatment regimen under supervision of RN and implements treatments.  Reports all changes in medical status to the RN for assessment.  Attends meetings as requested or required.  Establishes a compassionate and provides a safe and clean-living environment.  Maintains client confidentiality.  Performs duties as directed by RN within scope of practices.  Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing and have a current NJ Licensed Practical Nursing License.  Three years related nursing experience serving DDD population a plus.

Finance Operations Assistant

Responsible for tasks related to the agency’s financial billing operations, including but not limited to:  Preparing and processing billing, performing all required aspects of Medicaid process, posts financial data to appropriate accounts within QuickBooks and reconciliation of accounts.  This position will also oversee documentation to ensure compliance with DDD and Medicaid regulations.  A strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy with numbers is required.  The ideal candidate will have a background in accounting and experience within a non-profit, social services, DDD or healthcare facility.  Candidate must have attention to detail and high level of accuracy with quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills.  Strong knowledge of accounting fundamentals.  Two years of administrative support experience including one year of Finance, Billing or Accounting.  Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel is necessary.  Knowledge of Foothold is a plus.

Full Time Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse will be responsible for the correct dispensing of medication by checking MAR’s, medications and prescriptions at each residence and at day program. Applies knowledge of illnesses and injuries in assessing the needs for further medical care. Consults and advocates with other medical professionals and attends IHP’s as needed. Provides efficient patient and care and handles critical situations in a timely and safe manner. Performs and documents monthly assessments of each individual’s vital signs to address health care concerns. Documents and communicates information to other staff, physicians and supervisors. Demonstrates good clinical and ethical judgement in the performance of duties and respects the dignity and confidentiality of the individuals we serve. Conduct agency training, including medication and diabetes and seizure, per State requirements. Some travel required between Achievement Center, Administration and Group Homes.

Direct Care Professionals

Supports individuals in our Residential Group Homes. Under the supervision of the Residential Group Home Manager and Supervisor, responsible for maintaining the home environment, administering medication, transporting individuals and participating in community, social and recreational activities. Day, evening and overnight shifts available. This position requires a valid driver’s license and High School Diploma or equivalent.

Group Home Manager

Responsible for the day-to-day operations of our residential homes for individuals with developmental disabilities: staffing coverage, active treatment program planning, compliance with state, federal, local and agency standards and procedures.
