The Essex County Environmental Center is an environmental education center, located in a wooded wetland habitat with access to the Passaic River which makes for an interesting site for a naturalist inspired expedition for our clients.
Laurelwood Arboretum is a beautiful 30-acre property that contains woodland trails, gardens, wildlife ponds, streams and hundreds of varieties of unusual species of plants and trees. Here our clients generate many emotions, such as calmness, joy, and creativity. Pictures Coming Soon !
Our clients explored a 596-acre county park in Bergen County. We localized in Saddle Brook but this massive beauty links five parks, ponds, playgrounds, and a multi-use path that spans from Rochelle Park extending out to Glen Rock.

Kate Gorrie's Butterfly House, offers a one-of-a-kind experience. This magical location allowed our Day Program participants to visit a showcase that replicates butterflies natural habitats.
Our clients enjoyed the breeze, on a scenic riverfront picnic. Alpine Boat Basin is one of the most popular spots in Palisades, it brings in hikers, boaters and picnic goers. Pictures Coming Soon!
Alstede Farm in Chester, NJ created an adventure of a lifetime for our clients. Being able to pick a diverse plethora of fresh fruits and vegetables and even fun on a tractor!
Our clients took a peaceful walk through a freshwater wetland in Allendale. The Celery Farm hosts a variety of wildlife, trails and over 53 breeding birds on the 107 acre preserve. Pictures Coming Soon!
Our residents enjoyed a day at the historical Liberty State Park. This beautiful green oasis is located in the middle of Metropolitan New Jersey, featuring a Manhattan skyline, the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.
Our clients love a day to express themselves through art. The arts program can boost mood, improve self - confidence and reduce stress overall.
Rutgers Garden gives our clients the experience of visiting a "living museum" with its large array of gardens and plant collections. Located in North Brunswick, our clients get to see this botanical garden year round!
Situated on a ridge over 500 feet above sea level, Garrett Mountain offered our clients panoramic views of Northern NJ. The park is 568 acres of fresh air, architecture and trails our clients used to build confidence, explore and learn about the local communities history.
Wyckoff Nature Center is an adventure that kept our clients exhilarated at every component offered. This 81-acre repurposed pig farm now hosts a wildlife sanctuary that hosts a plethora of animals and plants in its ponds, animal shelters, gardens, trails, picnic sites and nature exhibits. A trip to the local library allows our extraordinary individuals to work on community awareness and resources, socialization, public navigation, decision making, and enjoy a leisurely activity with their peers.
Our clients enjoyed a day in the kitchen ! Learning to prepare meals encourages independence and provides the opportunity for social connections with others. Plus a tasty reward at the end.
Overpeck Park hosted our clients for a day of play and fun in the sun. Spanning more than 805-acres, its a prime location for a recreational day! This park contains multiple athletic tracks and fields, picnic and fishing areas, playgrounds, a grass amphitheater and a 5 mile trail for walking and biking. Pictures coming Soon!
Our clients get to pick fresh produce and artisan foods at Teaneck's Farmers Market. This not only promotes a healthy lifestyle but allows our clients to become more familiar with the locals in their community. Pictures Coming Soon!
Brookhollow Barnyard is great experience for any farmer. Here our clients got to feed the animals carrots, enjoy tractor and train rides, while learning all about the animals on the property. This allows our clients to get fresh air, exercise and the opportunity for problem solving and appreciation for the land and animals.
