Mad Science of Northeast NJ stopped by the Achievement Center in Paramus to put on a show for our participants which included exciting topics such as electricity, magnetism, optics, biology and more!

Laurelwood Arboretum is a beautiful 30-acre property that contains woodland trails, gardens, wildlife ponds, streams and hundreds of varieties of unusual species of plants and trees, where our participants can experience calmness, joy, and creativity. Pictures coming soon!

Our amazing individuals love to browse and shop for their own items at Dollar General. These outings also give them independence, allowing them to utilize their money management skills, follow directions, community awareness and safety, and decision making. Pictures coming soon!

Our day program participants held a mock election at the Paramus Achievement Center and learned about the democratic process.

Our extraordinary individuals enjoy the breeze while on a scenic riverfront picnic.  Alpine Boat Basin is one of the most popular spots in the Palisades and brings in hikers, boaters and picnic goers to its picturesque marina every year. Pictures coming soon!

A trip to the local library allows our individuals an opportunity to develop skills for community awareness, socialization, public navigation, and decision making, while enjoying a leisurely activity. Pictures coming soon!

We visit a local exotic pet shop in Lodi, where our participants have a chance to see and interact with an assortment of animals like lizards, reptiles, small animals, and colorful birds. Pictures coming soon!

Dance instructor Henry "Rival" Vijande drops by the Achievement Center to teach our Day Program participants how to dance to the rhythm of hip hop beats and music in a judgement free environment.
