Our Day Program participants hone their creativity at the Achievement Center with seasonal arts & crafts, guided by instructor, Debra Koplish.
A trip to the local library allows our extraordinary individuals to work on community awareness and resources, socialization, public navigation, decision making, and enjoy a leisurely activity.
Our participants visit a local bowling alley to let the pins fall where they may! Bowling provides a great low-impact workout engaging muscle strength and cardio, improves flexibility and plus, its fun!
Participants at our Achievement Center enjoy some cool treats at a local ice cream shop. Socials with our individuals are important for skill improvement to cope with challenges, and reduces stress, depression, anxiety and fatigue.
Our participants love self-care days ! Self-care activities help reduce stress and anxiety, boost self esteem and leads to better relationships with their community.
A trip to the Dollar Tree store gives our participants full access to resources, and promotes equal treatment and opportunity. They love to browse and shop for their own items. The team at Mercer Exercise Physiology works with the individuals at our Achievement Center to develop personalized workouts that suit each person's needs, abilities and goals. This creates a safe training environment where participants feel confident and comfortable. Pictures coming soon!

Our extraordinary individuals enjoy a day in the kitchen at our local YMCA! Learning to prepare meals encourages independence, and provides the opportunity for social connections with others. Plus a tasty reward at the end!
Exercise can benefit both physical and mental health. We spend the day at the local YMCA to exercise, get fit, and stay healthy.
Our participants are joined by Soke Grandmaster Larry Barr to sharpen their focus, self-discipline, and self-control while relieving some stress.
