Yoga can be beneficial for individuals with disabilities or chronic health conditions through both the physical postures and breathwork. Each pose can be modified or adapted to meet the needs of the student. Nurse Karen Overgaard spends time with the amazing individuals in our program to help them stretch, while practicing meditative breathing.

Exercise can benefit both physical and mental health. We spend the day at the local YMCA to exercise, get fit, and stay healthy.

Our Day Program participants hone their creativity at the Achievement Center with seasonal arts & crafts, guided by an instructor.
Our clients visit a local bowling alley to let the pins fall where they may! Bowling provides a great low-impact workout engaging muscle strength and cardio, improves flexibility and plus, its fun!
