Exercise can benefit both physical and mental health. Our clients spend the day at the local YMCA to get fit and stay healthy.

Art at the Achievement Center

Our Day Program participants hone their creativity at the Achievement Center with seasonal arts & crafts, guided by an instructor. Pictures coming soon!

Dollar Store

A trip to the Dollar Tree store gives our clients full access to resources, and promotes equal treatment and opportunity. They love to browse and shop for their own items. These outings also give them independence, allowing them to utilize their money management skills, follow directions, community awareness and safety, and decision making.

Rochelle Park Library

A trip to the local library allows our extraordinary individuals to work on community awareness and resources, socialization, public navigation, decision making, and enjoy a leisurely activity.  

Barr Karate

Our clients are joined by Soke Gandmaster Larry Barr to sharpen their focus, self-discipline, and self-control while relieving some stress.

Smoothie Social

A sweet and refreshing smoothie hits the spot for our clients as they gather for a social. Socials for our clients are important for skill improvement to cope with challenges, and reduces stress, depression, anxiety and fatigue.

Dance Group

The individuals at our Achievement Center work up a sweat dancing to their favorite tunes. Dancing helps to promote strength, coordination, and balance which helps in improving overall well-being! Pictures coming soon!

American Dream Mall

Individuals at our Achievement Center take a trip to American Dream Mall. The mall offers something for everyone with over 3 million square feet of dining, shopping, and family-friendly attractions. Pictures coming soon!

YMCA Cooking

Our clients enjoy a day in the kitchen! Learning to prepare meals encourages independence and provides the opportunity for social connections with others. Plus a tasty reward at the end!

Day at the Movies

Our clients sit back, relax, and enjoy the latest movies at local movie theaters.

Rochelle Park Library

A trip to the local library allows our extraordinary individuals to work on community awareness and resources, socialization, public navigation, decision making, and enjoy a leisurely activity.  

Visit to an Exotic Pet Store

We visit a local exotic pet shop in Lodi, where our individuals have a chance to see and interact with an assortment of animals like lizards, reptiles, small animals, and colorful birds. Pictures coming soon!

Dave & Buster’s

Our clients eat, play and watch sports at our local Dave & Buster's!

Bowling

Our clients visit a local bowling alley to let the pins fall where they may! Bowling provides a great low-impact workout engaging muscle strength and cardio, improves flexibility and plus, its fun!

Hoboken Fire Department Museum

Our extraordinary individuals visit the historic Hoboken Fire Department Museum and spend the day exploring the photographs and memorabilia collected over generations of firefighting in Hoboken. They can also pose for a photo inside the museum's restored 1930's fire engine. Pictures coming soon.
