Our amazing individuals enjoy a delightful afternoon at West Maple Farm in Monsey, NY, engaging with friendly animals like goats, alpacas, and rabbits in the petting zoo. Brookhollow’s Barnyard is great experience for anyone! Our program participants feed the animals carrots, enjoy tractor and train rides, while learning all about the animals on the property. The open outdoor space offers an opportunity to get fresh air, exercise, and an appreciation for the land and animals. Pictures coming soon!
At our Paramus Day Program, community residents worked with our Therapies team to create a special presentation on Occupational Therapy. Using fun, interactive games, participants and other staff learned about the benefits of daily life skills support. The presentation was also a way to practice public speaking skills.
