Exercise can benefit both physical and mental health. Participants in our program take a trip to the local YMCA to get fit and stay healthy.
Our participants visit a local bowling alley to let the pins fall where they may! Bowling provides a great low-impact workout engaging muscle strength and cardio, improves flexibility and plus, its fun!
Our extraordinary individuals enjoy the breeze while on a scenic riverfront picnic. Alpine Boat Basin is one of the most popular spots in the Palisades and brings in hikers, boaters and picnic goers to its picturesque marina every year. Pictures coming soon!

Overpeck Park hosts our participants for a day of play and fun in the sun. Spanning more than 805-acres, its a prime location for a recreational day! This park contains multiple athletic tracks and fields, picnic and fishing areas, playgrounds, a grass amphitheater and a 5 mile trail for walking and biking. Pictures coming Soon!
A sweet and refreshing smoothie hits the spot for our Day Program participants as they gather for a smoothie social. Socials for our clients are important for skill improvement to cope with challenges, and reduces stress, depression, anxiety and fatigue. Pictures coming soon!
Laurelwood Arboretum is a beautiful 30-acre property that contains woodland trails, gardens, wildlife ponds, streams and hundreds of varieties of unusual species of plants and trees, where our participants can experience calmness, joy, and creativity. Pictures coming soon!
The team at Mercer Exercise Physiology works with the individuals at our Achievement Center to develop personalized workouts that suit each person's needs, abilities and goals. This creates a safe training environment where participants feel confident and comfortable. Pictures coming soon!

Our residents & Day Program participants enjoy a day at the historical Liberty State Park. This green oasis is located in the middle of metro New Jersey and features a beautiful Manhattan skyline, the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Pictures coming soon!

Brookhollow's Barnyard is great experience for anyone! Here our program participants feed the animals carrots, enjoy tractor and train rides, while learning all about the animals on the property. The open outdoor space offers an opportunity to get fresh air, exercise and appreciation for the land and animals.
