With over 130 acres at Van Saun Park, there are many opportunities for individuals to enjoy passive and active recreation. The park offers ball fields and tennis courts, picnic areas, state of the art playgrounds and splash pads, pony rides, a millennium carousel, a miniature train ride, and the nationally-accredited Bergen County Zoo!
Lakeview Park, located in Clifton, provides a wide variety of activities and offers the amazing individuals in our program an opportunity to use their leisure time having fun out in the community!
Participants at our Achievement Center enjoy some cool treats at a local ice cream shop. Socials with our individuals are important for skill improvement to cope with challenges, and reduces stress, depression, anxiety and fatigue.
Volunteering is important for the amazing individuals in our program as a useful avenue for getting to know other members in our community. Our Day Program participants help out at Meals on Wheels to prepare dinners for residents in Bergen County. Pictures coming soon.
Our participants are joined by Soke Grandmaster Larry Barr to sharpen their focus, self-discipline, and self-control while relieving some stress with daily exercises.

Perfect for cooling off our amazing individuals during the steamy summer days, Teaneck offers sprinkler play areas conveniently located in 8 parks throughout the city. The splash areas have colorful sprinklers spurting out cool water to stimulate the senses and fight off the summer heat. Pictures coming soon!
Bear Mountain State Park is a 5,205-acre state park located on the west bank of the Hudson River in Rockland and Orange counties, New York. The park offers our amazing individuals an open, natural space to enjoy, while generating such emotions as calmness and serenity. Pictures coming soon!
Our group of amazing individuals head out to pick peaches at a nearby orchard. Peach picking is an excellent way to spend a sunny afternoon, surrounded by the sweet aroma of ripening fruit. Pictures coming soon!
