    Our extraordinary individuals visit the Gunnell Oval Recreational Complex in Kearny to enjoy fun outdoor activities areas, including the playground area, volleyball court, and outdoor exercise equipment. Pictures coming soon!

  • Van Saun County Park

    Our Day Program residents visit Van Saun County Park, the largest park in Bergen county. There are so many activities here for our amazing individuals to explore including a huge playground, a carousel, and a zoo. Pictures coming soon!

  • Ross Dock Picnic Area

    Our program participants spend the afternoon enjoying an outdoor picnic at Ross Dock Picnic Area, a large scenic riverfront picnic area just north of the George Washington Bridge in Fort Lee. Pictures coming soon!

    Our amazing individuals love to browse and shop for their own items at Dollar Tree. Pictures coming soon!

  • Marsh Discovery Trail

    The Marsh Discovery Trail is one of DeKorte Park’s most popular trails. The walkway provides an up-close vantage point for our amazing individuals to observe and enjoy the Meadowlands’ abundant wildlife and stunning natural beauty. Pictures coming soon!

  • Lunch Outing

    Our participants hit the town for some good food at one of the many local restaurants around our Paramus Achievement Center. Pictures coming soon.

  • Art at the Achievement Center

    Our Day Program participants hone their creativity at the Achievement Center with arts & crafts activities, guided by artists, Debra and Meghan Koplish. Pictures coming soon!

  • Music with Cliff

    Musician, Cliff Romanelli, joins our participants at the Achievement Center for some live accordion and piano music. Pictures coming soon!

  • Barr Karate

    Soke Grandmaster Larry Barr, from Barr Karate in Hackensack, stops by the Achievement Center to help our participants sharpen their focus, self-discipline, and self-control while relieving some stress with guided exercises. Pictures coming soon!

  • Sky Zone

    Our amazing individuals visit Sky Zone in Allendale for a quieter, toned-down jumping experience. Pictures coming soon!

  • Bear Mountain

    Bear Mountain State Park is a 5,205-acre state park located on the west bank of the Hudson River in Rockland and Orange counties, New York. The park offers our amazing individuals an open, natural space to enjoy, while generating such emotions as calmness and serenity. Pictures coming soon!

  • Liberty State Park

    Our residents & Day Program participants enjoy a day at the historical Liberty State Park. This green oasis is located in the middle of metro New Jersey and features a beautiful Manhattan skyline, the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Pictures coming soon!

  • Field Day & Memorial Day Celebration

    Our Paramus Achievement Center hosts a day of fun, outdoor activities and a picnic in celebration of Memorial Day. Pictures coming soon!

    Dance instructor Henry "Rival" Vijande drops by the Achievement Center to teach our Day Program participants how to dance in a judgement free environment. Pictures coming soon!

  • G. Thomas Donch Nature Preserve

    Our extraordinary individuals visit the G. Thomas Donch Nature Preserve , a 120-acre passive recreational facility featuring extensive hiking paths around a beautiful 75 acre lake. Pictures coming soon!
