Liberty State Park

Our residents enjoyed a day at the historical Liberty State Park. This beautiful green oasis is located in the middle of Metropolitan New Jersey, featuring a Manhattan skyline, the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.

Aquarium

The clients loved their adventure through reefs and coral barriers from the Arctic Ocean all the way to the Indian Ocean. The aquarium was able to alleviate anxiety, reduce stress resulting in a calming affect. 

Movies

Movie Day ! Our clients, sat back and enjoyed the show with a movie for some well needed enjoyment and stress reduction.   

Flags for Veteran’s

Our clients are very involved and valued members of the community. To show their honor and thanks for the sacrifices of veteran's and our country, they placed flags at local cemeteries.

Ice Cream Social

A sweet and refreshing slushy hits the spot for our clients as they gather for socials. Socials for our clients are important for skill improvement to cope with challenges, and reduces stress, depression, anxiety and fatigue.  Pictures Coming Soon.

Abma’s Farm

Abma's Farm was a great family owned property for our clients to see how the farm comes to the world. Here they traveled from the the zoo to see what the animals eat in the greenhouse through the the farmers hands into the market !   Pictures Coming Soon!

Sinatra Park

Sinatra Park is the wedge right between Pier C Park, a soccer field and Stevens Park. A wonderful grassy area that  has part of the Hudson River Waterfront walkway going through it . Our clients enjoyed the outdoor amphitheater in bliss with a NYC skyline. 

Reeves – Reed Arboretum

Our clients enjoyed a great foliage activity at the beautiful grounds of the Reeve's Reed Arboretum. The arboretum and garden houses a variety of trees and flowers made for a nature lover in Union County.    Pictures Coming Soon!

YMCA Cooking

Our clients enjoyed a day in the kitchen ! Learning to prepare meals encourages independence and provides the opportunity for social connections with others. Plus a tasty reward at the end.

Jackals Game

What a fun outing to the New Jersey Jackals game! Our Day Program participants had a great time hanging out with Jack the Jackal too! 

Essex County Environmental Center

The Essex County Environmental Center is an environmental education center, located in a wooded wetland habitat with access to the Passaic River which makes for an interesting site for a naturalist inspired expedition for our clients.

Event Series Saddle Brook Park

Saddle Brook Park

Our clients explored a 596-acre county park in Bergen County. We localized in Saddle Brook but this massive beauty links five parks, ponds, playgrounds, and a  multi-use path that spans from Rochelle Park extending out to Glen Rock.  

Event Series Celery Farm

Celery Farm

Our clients took a peaceful walk through a freshwater wetland in Allendale. The Celery Farm hosts a variety of wildlife, trails and over 53 breeding  birds on the 107 acre preserve. Pictures Coming Soon!

Rutgers Garden

Rutgers Garden gives our clients the experience of visiting a "living museum" with its large array of gardens and plant collections. Located in North Brunswick, our clients get to see this botanical garden year round!

Garrett Mountain

Situated on a ridge over 500 feet above sea level, Garrett Mountain offered our clients panoramic views of Northern NJ. The park is 568 acres of fresh air, architecture and trails our clients used to build confidence, explore and learn about the local communities history.
