  • Dance with Rival

    Dance instructor Henry "Rival" Vijande drops by the Achievement Center to teach our Day Program participants how to dance in a judgement free environment. Pictures coming soon!

  • Laurelwood Arboretum

    Laurelwood Arboretum is a beautiful 30-acre property that contains woodland trails, gardens, wildlife ponds, streams and hundreds of varieties of unusual species of plants and trees, where our participants can experience calmness and joy while connecting with the nature. Pictures coming soon!

  • Turtle Back Zoo

    Essex County’s Turtle Back Zoo offers a look at more than 100 different species of native and exotic animals. Individuals in our programs can spend the day learning all about animals from around the world. Pictures coming soon!

  • Wings CafĂ©

    Our Day Program participants stop by Wings Café for lunch. The café is located at Blairstown Airport, and offers our amazing individuals a chance to explore the grounds and see the planes up close! Pictures coming soon!

  • Bergen County Zoo

    Our program participants visit the nationally-accredited Bergen County Zoo! The zoo offers sensory-friendly features and accessible pathways where they can engage with wildlife and nature at their own pace.

  • Rochelle Park Library

    Our amazing individuals take a trip to Rochelle Park Public Library to enjoy an afternoon movie or a good book. Pictures coming soon!

  • Frank Sinatra Park

    Frank Sinatra Park features spacious grassy areas with impressive NYC skyline views and has part of the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway going through it. It is a great place for our individuals to spend an afternoon out in the community!

  • Art at the Achievement Center

    Our Day Program participants hone their creativity at the Achievement Center with arts & crafts activities, guided by artists, Debra and Meghan Koplish. Pictures coming soon!

  • Movie Theater

    A trip to local movie theaters gives our participants the opportunity sit back, relax, and enjoy the latest featured flicks!

    Soke Grandmaster Larry Barr, from Barr Karate in Hackensack, stops by the Achievement Center to help our participants sharpen their focus, self-discipline, and self-control while relieving some stress with guided exercises. Pictures coming soon!

    Our participants enjoy a year round thriving town, with a trip to Point Pleasant. Home to restaurants, beaches, attractions, boardwalks, festivals and much more! Pictures coming soon!

  • Trip to the Park

    Our extraordinary individuals spend a relaxing afternoon at one of the many beautiful parks in our area, walking the trails, playing games, and relaxing in the fresh air. It's a wonderful way to spend time outdoors, socialize, and appreciate the simple joys of nature. Pictures coming soon!

    Our amazing individuals love to browse and shop for their own items at one of the many discount stores in our area like Dollar Tree. Pictures coming soon!

  • Meals on Wheels

    Volunteering is important for the amazing individuals in our program as a useful avenue for getting to know the community. Our Day Program participants help out at Meals on Wheels to prepare dinners for residents in Bergen County. Pictures coming soon.
