Paramus, NJ – On Sunday, October 15th, Bergen County’s Division of Cultural and Historical Affairs hosted the “59th Annual Bergen County Art in the Park Show and Concert” at Van Saun Park. This annual event featured an outdoor art exhibit from over 100 talented exhibitors, art demonstrations, and musical performances. New Concepts for Living was proud to be a part of this year’s exhibit, showing many of the beautiful projects that have been created by our Achievement Center/Day Program participants. Many of our participants attended the event to see their works of art on display!
Over the past several months, NCFL’s Achievement Center/Day Program’s participants have created beautiful works of art with the help of Debra Koplish, who leads weekly Therapeutic Art at NCFL. Every week Debra shares her passion for art with our participants who get to express their artistic abilities through various mediums. On Sunday, those works of art were displayed for all to see! NCFL is proud of our participants and the hard work that they put into those art pieces; and we thank Debra for her dedication to providing adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities an artistic outlet.
