New Concepts for Living provides opportunities for our residents and Day Program participants to be a part of the community. They enjoy a wide variety of outings, trips, and activities.

Our participants enjoy a coffee social at Bogota Press Cafe. The shop offers fresh baked goods and delicious treats for our amazing individuals to enjoy!
Essex County Environmental Center

September 14 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Program participants visit the Essex County Environmental Center in Roseland for an fun, educational trip to learn about our relationship with nature.
Rita’s Italian Ice

September 14 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Our Day Program participants attend ice cream social at Rita's Italian Ice in Paramus.
Lunch Outing

September 14 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Our participants visit Chili's Grill & Bar for lunch, enjoying good food and great company while spending time out in the town.
Regatta Playground

September 14 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Day Program participants visit Regatta Playground in West Orange to enjoy the fresh air, explore the play areas, and spend time together outdoors by the water.
Bergen County Zoo at Van Saun Park

September 16 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Our Day Program participants visit the nationally-accredited Bergen County Zoo in Van Saun Park.
Apple Picking

September 16 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Day Program participants head to a local farm for an afternoon of apple picking in the orchards.
Funplex

September 16 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Our Day Program participants stop by Funplex in East Hanover for a fun-filled afternoon of rides, attractions, games, bowling and more!
Abma’s Farm

September 16 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Our Day Program participants take a trip to Abma's Farm in Wyckoff to explore the farm and see the goats, sheep, alpaca, donkeys, ponies, bunnies, pigs, and more in their petting zoo!
