Paramus, NJ – New Concepts for Living (NCFL) marked a significant milestone on June 18, 2024, with the grand opening ceremony of its new Achievement Center and headquarters in Paramus, NJ. The event was attended by a diverse array of guests, including long-time NCFL supporters, guardians, family members of NCFL participants, prospective families, Board Trustees, state and county dignitaries, and numerous community members. Guests enjoyed an impressive spread of appetizers, desserts, and refreshments generously donated by Inserra Supermarkets.

The ceremony, hosted by NCFL’s Director of Facilities, Dan Mihalinec, featured insightful speeches delivered by key figures such as NCFL’s CEO, Steve Setteducati, Assemblyman Christopher Tully, Bergen County Executive James Tedesco, Assemblyman Clint Calabrese, Paramus Mayor Christopher DiPiazza, Ombudsman for Individuals with I/DD and Their Families Paul Aronsohn, Senator John McKeon, and NCFL parent, Kim Catalfamo. These addresses underscored the organization’s commitment to providing essential services and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in the region.

Following the speeches, attendees participated in a ceremonial ribbon-cutting ceremony, officiated by the Bergen County Chamber of Commerce, symbolizing the official opening of NCFL’s new facilities. The event not only celebrated the physical expansion of NCFL but also highlighted its ongoing dedication to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities and their families.
