New Concepts for Living (NCFL) held an Open House on Tuesday, November 14 to showcase our latest Community Residence, a luxurious 4-bedroom ranch style home in River Vale, NJ.
NCFL team members were on site to welcome guests and provide a tour as well as information on the home and NCFL’s complete suite of services, including our new Adult Achievement Center opening in the Spring as well as new homes for medically fragile individuals.
Nearly 50 people stopped by between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM to tour the home, meet some of our staff, and attend a presentation introducing NCFL. Guest were also provided with vital information on the NJ DDD (Division of Developmental Disabilities’) Community Care Program and other supports available to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the State.
Visitors consisted of Support Coordinators, families and guardians, and members of the Community who also had a chance to network with each other. Guests also had the opportunity to enjoy an expansive and delicious lunch buffet, sponsored by our partner, Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy.
The River Vale home is expected to open in December and is only one of many new Community Residences (Group Homes) NCFL is planning to provide to deserving extraordinary individuals in New Jersey.
