June 21, 2023: New Concepts for Living held an open house for it’s newest home located in Old Tappan, NJ. This impressive, 5,100 square foot home was built to specifically meet the needs of adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities, as well as significant medical needs. The home is handicap accessible with wide entryways and hallways, roomy bathrooms with roll in showers, and a Hoyer lift system in multiple bedrooms.
Over 75 guests attended the open house and had the opportunity to tour the new home, attend informational sessions provided by NCFL’s Intake Manager, Deena King and Assistant Day Program Director, Lisa Callahan. Guests learned about NCFL’s Day Program and community residences, the intake process, transitioning from the under 21 programs to adult services, and more.
