  • Cooking Class at Shoprite

    Our Day Program participants stopped by Shoprite for a class with their in-store dietician. The dietitian answered questions and shared easy ways to make everyday recipes more nutritious. It was a great opportunity to gain confidence in the kitchen and make smarter food choices.

  • Cooking Lessons

    Our participants enjoy a day in the kitchen! Learning to prepare meals encourages independence and provides the opportunity for social connections with others. Plus they get a tasty reward at the end! Picture coming soon!

  • Trip to the Movie Theater

    A trip to local movie theaters gives our participants the opportunity sit back, relax, and enjoy the latest featured flicks! Pictures coming soon!

  • Bergen County Zoo

    Our program participants visit the nationally-accredited Bergen County Zoo! The zoo offers sensory-friendly features and accessible pathways where they can engage with wildlife and nature at their own pace.

  • Rochelle Park Library

    A trip to the local library allows the individuals in our program to enjoy a fun books or movie. Pictures coming soon!  

  • Dollar Store

    Our amazing individuals love to browse and shop for their own items at one of the many discount stores in our area like Dollar Tree. Pictures coming soon!

  • Art at the Achievement Center

    Our Day Program participants hone their creativity at the Achievement Center with arts & crafts activities, guided by artists, Debra and Meghan Koplish. Pictures coming soon!

  • Celebrating Earth Day

    We celebrated Earth Day at our Paramus Achievement Center with a mix of fun indoor and outdoor activities. Outside, we enjoyed the fresh air while playing games and spending time together. Indoors, we got creative with Earth-themed crafts and projects. It was a great day of fun and connection.

  • New Jersey Botanical Gardens

    Our program participants enjoy a relaxing day at the New Jersey Botanical Gardens in Ringwood, walking through colorful flower beds and shaded woodland paths.

  • Barr Karate

    Grandmaster Larry Barr, from Barr Karate in Hackensack, stops by the Achievement Center to teach our participants guided exercises. Pictures coming soon!

  • Meals on Wheels

    Volunteering is important for the amazing individuals in our program as a useful avenue for getting to know other members in our community. Our Day Program participants help out at Meals on Wheels to prepare dinners for residents in Bergen County. Pictures coming soon.
